McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, seeks employment applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), non-tenure clinical track Assistant/Associate Full Professor position in the Children's Heart Institute, Division of Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care to join our existing group of 8 Cardiac Critical Care Physicians and 8 advanced practice providers caring for patients within our Children’s Heart Institute (CHI) Heart Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (HCICU) at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Responsibilities:
- Teaching, including the education of Cardiology, PICU, and HCICU fellows and advanced care practitioners.
- Supporting the mission of delivering high-quality care, teaching, and scholarly activities.
Qualifications:
- Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License.
- Board-eligible, or board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
The successful candidate should have completed training and be BC/BE in pediatric cardiology, or pediatric critical care with additional training completed in pediatric cardiac intensive care, or dual Cardiology/Critical Care training. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
