Pediatric Cardiogenic Shock – The Future is Now

Wednesday, June 18, 2025 1:00 PM - Wednesday, July 16, 2025 2:00 PM (EDT)

Description

Pediatric cardiogenic shock is a high-morbidity and mortality problem ubiquitous in the pediatric cardiac ICUs, especially as the burden of acute decompensated heart failure admissions continues to increase. The PCICS Cardiogenic Shock Think-tank launched in 2024 at the annual meeting, to collaborate on improving recognition and outcomes for these patients and learning from the experts in pediatric and adult medicine. This set of webinars is designed to orient providers caring for children with acute decompensated heart failure and/or cardiogenic shock to the landscape of the problem, the lessons and concepts applicable from the adult cardiogenic shock world, practical clinical considerations, as well as directions for future research.
