Zahidee (Saidie) Rodriguez, MD, graduated from the University of Georgia and went on to complete her medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine. There, she developed an interest in global health and joined the Global Health Track during her pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Dr. Rodriguez completed a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at Stanford Children’s Hospital and a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and now cares for children with congenital heart disease in the intensive care unit. She is passionate about the cognitive-emotional aspects that influence professional well-being and burnout. Her primary scholarly focus surrounds coaching healthcare professionals and researching the impact of coaching on their well-being.
