Take the next step in your professional journey with the Pediatric Heart Institute Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Our program is a 12- month postgraduate structured fellowship which provides immersive training in both inpatient and ambulatory areas of pediatric cardiology, pediatric cardiothoracic surgery, and pediatric cardiac critical care through a comprehensive, mentored learning experience.

- Specialized Clinical Training: Gain experience across all areas of the pediatric heart institute over the course of the fellowship. Primary areas of focus will be pediatric cardiology, pediatric cardiothoracic surgery, and pediatric cardiac ICU with additional exposure to PHI subspeciality areas including pediatric heart failure/transplant, single-ventricle team, cath lab, pediatric cardiac imaging, etc.

Ideal Candidate:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- National Board Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Acute Care (PNCB-AC) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- TN License/Certificate of Fitness to prescribe, eligible for NPI and DEA
- Interest in Pediatric Cardiac Care
Time Commitment: 12-months: January 1- December 31
