Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist
Children's Minnesota is excited to announce that we are expanding our Cardiac Intensivist team and looking to add a fellowship trained Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to join our nationally recognized Cardiovascular Program.
Children's Minnesota Cardiovascular Program is one of the largest programs in the region with 480 cardiac surgeries, 500 cath procedures provided by 3 cardiac surgeons and 4 invasive cardiologists along with 14,185 echos (1,477 fetal) performed in 2019. Our Cardiovascular Care Center on the Minneapolis Campus is comprised of 33 beds, 2 dedicated CVOR’s (one with hybrid capabilities), biplane cath lab, preoperative area, & state of the art simulation lab, all co-located on the same floor. Our program delivers a full range of services from imaging tests to pioneering surgeries and provides care for neonates, children, teens, and adults born with heart defects.
Join 7 Cardiac Intensivists and 5 Cardiac Nurse Practitioners
33 bed Cardiovascular unit at Children's Minnesota
Postoperative management of complex neonates (including Norwood palliation and complex biventricular repairs), infants, children, and young adults.
Compensated participation in non-clinical quality, education, or research
Lead multi-disciplinary rounds that include cardiology and cardiovascular surgery as well as dedicated cardiovascular nursing, pharmacy, and support staff.
In-house call averaging 4 nights/month
Holidays and weekend call split equally within the group
