Children’s of Mississippi is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to join our established and rapidly growing pediatric cardiac critical care program. As Mississippi’s only children’s hospital, we offer a unique opportunity to make a meaningful statewide impact while joining a program with a strong clinical foundation, excellent outcomes, and continued growth year after year.

Our Program

Our 32-bed pediatric intensive care program includes a 20-bed PICU and 12-bed dedicated CICU, with around 200 cardiac surgeries and more than 1,600 PICU admissions annually.

As the state’s only children’s hospital, Children’s of Mississippi serves as a major referral center for critically ill children across Mississippi. Our comprehensive program cares for children with complex congenital and acquired heart disease, including perioperative congenital heart surgery and advanced cardiac and critical care needs.

The Opportunity

The Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist will join an experienced multidisciplinary team of pediatric intensivists, cardiologists, congenital heart surgeons, cardiac anesthesiologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other pediatric specialists.

With a well-established clinical infrastructure, strong outcomes, and rapidly increasing program volume, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and advancement of pediatric cardiac critical care at Children’s of Mississippi.
