Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia integrates Pediatric critical care or cardiology fellowship trained physicians into our care model delivery as a Hospital-Physician under the guidance of a Cardiac ICU attending physician. Hospital-Physicians in the Cardiac Intensive Care have the following opportunities available to them:
- Be the primary clinician caring for critically ill children alongside excellent Cardiac Critical Care Medicine faculty, and partnering with advanced practice providers;
- Gain expertise in management of complex, high acuity patients; co-lead resuscitations; develop proficiency in procedural skills; and help families navigate difficult situations
- Participate and contribute in high quality state-of-art learning and teaching opportunities covering the entire spectrum of congenital and acquired heart disease
- We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including expenses for CME
Qualified candidates must be board certified/board eligible in Pediatrics and able to obtain a medical license in Pennsylvania.
