Cardiac Intensivists - CHOP, Philadelphia
The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) seeks entry and mid-level Cardiac Critical Care physicians to join our expanding team to meet the demands of our anticipated growth over the next few years.
The Cardiac Center at CHOP is one of the largest and most comprehensive pediatric cardiac programs in the United States and one of the premier centers in the world for treating single ventricle defects and performing lymphatic imaging and interventions. The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit has 32 beds and performs approximately 1,000 cardiac surgeries and 1,400 cardiac catheterization procedures annually.
This position includes an academic appointment at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
The candidate must be board certified/eligible in Pediatrics, and have subspecialty training and sub-board certification eligibility in either Pediatric Critical Care Medicine or Pediatric Cardiology, with additional advanced training in Cardiac Critical Care Medicine or have dual training in accredited Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and Pediatric Cardiology subspecialty training programs.
