Overview
This three-day course provides a comprehensive review of the didactic content in the PCICS Advanced Practice Provider Curriculum book - a compilation of peer-reviewed, evidence-based education modules containing detailed information and recommended reading on topics necessary for managing CICU patients. Topics include congenital heart disease lesions, low cardiac output, heart failure, transplant, mechanical circulatory support, pulmonary hypertension, EKG/arrhythmias, professional development, and more. The course will be taught by PCICS expert APPs. It is an opportunity to network with APP colleagues from many institutions to learn together, compare practices, and build lasting relationships for future collaboration. This course is eligible for CME and nursing CE hours.
Intended Audience
CICU Advanced Practice Providers (both NPs and PAs) who are beginning practice in a CICU or are within the first 5 years of practice.
Registration
Registration is limited to 40 participants and closes on March 1st, 2026.
